 It's a seedy motel by our local Blockbuster and there is always pigeons sitting on top of the sign - just seems sort of fitting. I've wanted to try for a shot of them for a while, so finally got this one. I want to try again when the sky isn't so harsh and I have more time to play with my camera.

I might've rotated it just a little to make the bottom of the sign level with the bottom of the pic, just my 2 cents. The lines do add to the shot, the birds are funny.

It's so interesting how the lines all crossing each other in front of your subject actually make this more dramatic and interesting. I wonder why they like it up there so much. The reds also really give it pop.

This is great. I really really like the inclusion of the electrical/phone wires. For some odd reason they really add to the image.

This is like a scene out of The Birds! These old motels and signs have so much character.

HEE HEE - I see we both did some birds today. I like the criss crossing of the lines and the MOTEL sign.

Great -- combined "The Birds" and "Psycho." :-)
Really, I love the dented sign, the pigeons, and all the criss-crossing shadows.
