 This is a recreation of an image I took a few years ago with my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 950. The original can be seen at //www.soasoas.com/april/gallery/viewImg2.cgi?dir=blackAndWhite&id=Earth_Air_Fire_Water

I always liked it and wanted to do it again when I had a better camera and this challenge provided the perfect opportunity. This time I kept the color.

Post processing included level adjustment to brighten the image, cropped down just a bit, spot editing some distractions from the glasses and slight unsharp mask.

Wow! I love how you took it upon yourself to bring all four elements into the picture, and then to do so in an incredibly creative manner. It really brings all four together in a very... harnessed sort of way. This photograph is phenomenal!

Very clever idea, and a terrific photo also. Earth fire and water are all about the same height, and makes it look proportioned. Nice.

It's a nice still life photo. Neat idea. Exposure is good and the lighting is done well, I don't see glares from your light source (from above?) on the glasses which is a pain when photographing shiny objects.

cool idea. I think maybe the lighting is not as dramatic as it could be. The symmetry is very nice. I think that choice of cropping/framing could have been better too. Overall nice composition though.

Simple. . . but ever so sweet!!! Well done. My only thought ( and simply a matter of taste), would have been to have the glass with air be the only one upside down. BOL I'll be surprised if this isn't a ribbon shot.
