I really got carried away with taking pictures of the clouds. No polarizing filter, because I always get a nasty dark wedge in the middle of the sky if I use it with this lens.

Great white/blue tones. I have the Sigma 10-20 lens and Hoya Pro Circular Polarizer and don't get much of what you're seeing with yours. What filter do you have?

Cool sky and clouds quite right that they are the focus of the photo

The sky looks amazing. I'd love to find clouds like that where I am right now.

Love the sky. Those of us in the east just never see these skies (unless we visit, of course).

Great job of capturing the nature of this landscape, Germaine. That's exactly how it looks: Washed out on the ground and crazy blue in the sky. Great photo - lots of depth.

I don't see much desert here, it's just all flat and green. Wonderfull view.

i love these, but i think the foreground is kind of scattered. i'd love to see a shot with a strong focal point -- a single cactus or tumbleweed or something -- framed by that immaculate blue sky. don't get me wrong -- it's gorgeous -- but i'm used to seeing the sky in this context. using the sky as more of a backdrop than the focal point might make for a more interesting shot.

don't hate me. :)
