I was about to give up on entering this challenge when i couldn't find any critters to photograph, i went gecko hunting a few times but i think the birds/bats ate them all. but then i was walking after dusk and saw the first and only Iraqi frog since I've been out here. so i was quite surprised to find him. worked out well since i just got my new 580exII and two 430 ex flashes in the mail yesterday.

Really good macro, crystal clear and colors are spot on.

VERY cool. I never did see any frogs. Desert rats, rabbits, coyotes, jackals, thousands of bats, but no frogs. Great close-up - excellent detail, very rich color. Nice work!

Damn-- I love the right side (7/8's of the shot) the blue tint on the left is bothersome to my eye, none the less 8
