This technique is brilliant. And you certainly have mastered it. |

I just love these images. I keep finding myself eagerly awating to see what you will come up with next. I would give just about anything to be able to sit and watch for a day or so to see you create some of these.
well done :D

Fantastic work here. I particulary like the combination of sharp inner lines and soft/blurry outer lines. |

Very ethereal effect . .
I really like the overall effect but wonder whether your face might be just a little too clear and in focus ? Maybe if you had just kept the eyes sharp ?
Hey I don't know :- )
What I do know is that it is a really good picture and you are abundantly talented.
Great shot. |

Smyk:) basically yes, i painted myself with all the shadows/hightlights and then combined a painting of myself with a photo of me. |

This is the kind of thing i'm messing around with at the moment, but it's definatley not in your leauge! Excellent as always.
As i don't get to come on DPC all that often it's always a pleasure to see what you, and a few others, have worked your magic on whilst i've been away. Once again excellent.
P.S Is that paper texture one that you made or a stock shot? Just curious. |

Wow. This chinese brush painting is one thing I could not figure out completely. Difficult thing to do. I have a portrait done by this technique. I have kept it for last 10 years thinking that one day I will paint it to see if I could really paint like that. But could not do it.
Off course if I am writing this much, this photo is joy for my eyes.
Good work. |
