This is sooo different from any other photo I took at the beach and for some reason I fell in love with it the moment I saw it (perhaps the lensflare) :)

Played with a bit of different processing here, new stuff, old stuff...end result, I like.

Was thinking about using this for freestudy, but I didn't want to see it end up middle of the pack. Plus I liked it better with the added texture and I'm not sure that's allowed in advanced editing.

So whatever, here it is for my slice of life. :)

I'm not sure how this would have done in the FS, but it's just awesome. That lens flare adds that little bit to make it even better.

Oh this really looks aged. I love the nostalgic, classic feel to it.

Oh Jennifer!!! What an awesome photo. I love the added texture too. I think it's too good for the Free Study, actually. They tend to go for stock photography more than anything else, and this should be in a Life Magazine feature!

Nicely mutted and also reflects how things look at the beach glare in your eyes included.

Nice. There's such a softness in the muted color tones as well as the gentle slope of the dunes in the background. This has a lovely, nostalgic feel to it. Oh, and another fan of lens flare here. :)

Lovely, Jen. It is indeed very captivating. One just sits and enjoys. It has a certain innocence and joie de vie to it. And yes, I like the lens flare, too.
