You got robbed - this is a beautiful shot - one of my favorites of the entire challenge (I was one of your 8's). Of course, this is a close-up of water, with the beautiful reflection of aspen leaves distorted on the surface, and a single leaf to tie it together. Not sure where the other voters expected you to stand to get a "more macro" shot of this...
You have some beautiful nature shots - including "Swift Mountain River"

| I wish the subject didn't blend in so much into the background, it makes it difficult to see what is supposed to be the main stubject |
