 I had practically no equipment, just a friend who I asked to model for me for 10 minutes (though I probably held her hostage for about 15 or 20 minutes), and a big shopping bag to protect my SLR from dirt or scratches and for me to prop my elbow on as well.
I wanted the shot to show the darkness cast over the bug by the shoe, without losing too much detail of the Converse shoe sole, while showing the glaring sun in the bug's eyes as it looked up to its death.
Post processing was a bit of levels, then adding brightness, lowering contrast and adjusting color balance of highlights to give it a slightly more amber tinge.
Not sure if I did things right, though. This is my first DP challenge entry. :P Trying to justify any possible errors in my work. Haha. :P
In depth critique would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

Taken a little bit too far off the ground to really make us feel like a bug. Lacking in sharpness and many will not like the flare very much.
