very interesting, I'm not quite sure about the depth of field though.

very good idea. the photo has too many "hot" spots, and there is not much feeling of depth as of looking down a clif. one could mistake this photo to a macro... 6

There's no context here and, as an abstract, there's too much detail for my eye (made all the more so by using b&w). By context I mean that the viewer can't place the image in any context their familiar with.
