After our stop at the state park it was off to Rockville, Indiana for the covered bridge festival. In town it's wall-to-wall people, craft booths, food booths, etc.
There are 4 or 5 route to go see the bridges with signs pointing out the bridges since some are off the main road. So it's essentially find a bridge, get out, walk around, take pictures, read graffiti, go to next bridge. It's interesting but after a while they tend to look quite a bit alike. Many bridges are still used, but you can see this one is blocked to prevent use.
Since we stopped at the state park and then lunch and then looked around town we got off to a late start. Most of my bridge shots were taken after dark, this included. It looked fine on the camera lcd, but here not so hot due to uneven lighting. So this edit is simply hiding the flaws. Tonemap & use Nik Efex Old Photo: Color filter. |
