My brother in law in the kitchen of their apartment they are renting while getting their house ready to sell. I thought of using it for POV but I don't like it without the additional grunge. If it looks too dark, it's just your monitor vs. mine. I can see the subtleties of his facial features. I hope you can too. ;~D

Works well with the b&w and the added grunge. I had a ponytail for awhile. :-)

I like it, and the grunge seems to fit nicely with the mood presented.

It's dark, but works with your image. Love the grunge look. Love the border and effects too!

I love how much these textures can add to an image, or even rescue one sometimes. I have a somewhat bright monitor and can make out just the right hint of his features.

love your processing on this ..
and its interesting, but i think my monitor is too dark .. i cant make out his features all that well ..
i keep thinking of adjusting my monitor, but i dont because i tend to like things pretty dark anyway, so if i leave it the way it is for my processing etc then it'll be lighter for other ppl looking at my stuff on their monitors ... does that make sense .. ?? ...

i LOVE the overall idea of this shot
you composed this perfectly
the grunge looks great as well
i think though that the use of midtone contrast (?) really takes away from this shot. not sure if thats what you used... maybe it was something from the filter gallery? idk. but the skin and hair looks very odd to me... i think that just a simple tweak of levels, curves, or some dodge & burn would've been better.

I like the grunge but it makes me not want to live there.
