All of that scribble on the street looks really odd. But I like the truck that even has the number on the top.

While busy, this is pretty cool. The numbers on the street are interesting... as though a group of math geeks had come along and decided to become vandals! :)

I like this one because it reminds me of a camera angle you see from time to time in a Martin Scorcese (sp?) movie. And I like that because it's a different way of looking at the world than our usual standing up horizontal view point. So well done on this one. CJ

Initial=Nice idea
Composition=nice diagonals from the street
Clarity (focus, details)=good detail
Exposure=well done.. just wonder if a slower shutter speed causing blur to show motion in the people and vehicles would add more interest.
Interesting or Emotive=interesting angle and shows a perspective of your lifestyle

I feel dizzy looking at this - like the diagonals in the framing

Interesting. I like the angle from above. What's all the red?

You did a good job of getting the camera to aim straight down... a night shot at this angle (maybe getting some headlight & taillight trails) would have been very neat.

09/23/2002 01:28:00 PM
Nice use of perspective. And, indeed, that is a corner. :)

All I can focus on is "1-800-Mattress" I love the concept, but maybe you should have done it with a bit less distracting traffic.
09/23/2002 12:34:00 AM
Quite the image! It's making be a bit dizzy. I have a feeling that if you had taken the photo when the 1800Mattress van wasn't in the shot, that it would have been a little less distracting.. however.. having that other truck is good too.. i like how its angled. Great idea, but the mattress van bothers me a bit.. sorry.. still a wonderful idea. 7
