Oh, what a cozy place to be in... this one could have worked for the next challenge, right?

Composition=fair
Clarity (focus, details)=I realized this is a reflection in the mirror.. (I try to read the titles second), so for a reflection this is very clear.
Exposure=good
Interesting or Emotive=fair

I am using a this new detailed commenting method inspired by autool. (Thanks

looks alittle crooked and blurry, could use to be "warmer".
09/26/2002 08:41:00 AM
too dark and out of focus. Light from candles is distracting

Looks really cozy. However the photo is kind of dark in the background, which doesn't quite appeal to me. Focus is off a little on the floor rug too.
09/25/2002 12:15:00 PM
needs focus.

Focus seems a little out, but I like the composition.

I understand the capture of 'your corner of the world' in this photo, but on the subjectivity scale, there is nothing that really grabs me and says HELLO. I like the effect that the longer exposure has on the lights :) - setzler

I don't know what the subject of this picture is... 4 sjgleah

A little too busy for my taste, and it looks a little soft on the focus...

Homey photo. A bit sharper focus would help. JEM

Good

One word...cozy ! I would be so comfortable here. Just grab a throw and hot chocolate and magazine....oh wait...you need a critique :) This really shows your corner of the world and not just some snap shot...you did well !!! Shiiizzzam

The bad part of CCD's is the vertical stripes they leave when you have very bright points of light. The candles probably looked great in person, but distract from the room. My eyes always wind up over at that edge of the picture.

Looks homey and nice. Good luck. Score 6 Justine

Although technically imperfect, I like this one a lot. I like the feel of it and it makes me want to go home and photograph My favoite sitting spot.

Very nice, soft focus is OK but the glare from candles on the left pulls me that way a bit too much. DPz
