THIS is why I rented the 70-200L. This shot was taken about 9PM (read: it was dark outside) under high school lights (which are admittedly better than the middle school lights I shoot under) from about 25 yards away.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this lens. Admittedly, I only *need* it for four or five weeks during football season, but at least now I know what "real" glass is like. I actually have some shots better than this one, but this was the easiest to get to.

Great action shot and dof to isolate the players. I just tried doing some action shot myself except with Argentine football (aka soccer), but I didn't quite do it as well as this.

That kid's story featuring "you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man" immediately came to mind. Nice stop action!!

Nice action shot. After I got my 24-70L most of my other lenses look soft. Damn that L-glass!
