Taylor goes here for Acting on Wednesdays and Ballet on Thursdays. I pick her up on Wednesdays after work. I didn't have any pictures for today so figured I'd get there a few minutes early and get a shot of the building. Handheld, through the windshield, camera balanced on steering wheel.

The guy in the doorway is "Mr. B." and he teaches and does the business side of the place. He's checking to make sure the children have people there waiting for them. They won't let them out unless they recognize a parent.

I dodge the windows on top and did a rough job of cloning out a poster bocking Mr. B. Apply Nik Efex Midnight filter, adjust hue/sat, resize, and save for web. I really like how it came out. It's a bit dark and creepy and yet soft at the same time.

Great atmospheric light on this one. I love all of the little colored balls of light hanging down. Wish we could see all of Mr. B's face through the window, but still quite a nice shot!

This is cool - looks like the setup for a small-town horror movie (I'm in the Halloween mood all this month). Thanks for the story!

Wow that turned out so good! How interesting to see how cool a little photoshopping mojo can make a photo! The lighting looks so warm and cozy. And there's amazing focus for such a low light situation -- hand held! Kudos to YOU!

Nice shot. I like the light on the porch and how it lights up the name of the school. Nice work!

I don't see the creepy aspect of it - I see the softness and warmth. Very nicely done in my opinion.
