 Checking out the "macro" capability on the Sony P&S. Not too bad when you can get it focus on what you want it to focus on.

It would be a bit more exciting to see a large ant, spyder, or scorpian, sitting on the nail. Just lay out a trail of bread crumbs.

Very nice. That's some dof you've got on there...and so much detail (esp. from the rust)from the nail. Who would have thought a rusty nail could be so interesting? :) I like it!

Great shot. I like the wood with the rusty nail. The focus on the nail the area around it, the gradual blurr is nice. Well done.

Not bad at allllll! How come you're using a Sony Point and Shoot? Because it's little and you can take it anywhere? Bill gave up using our rebel for the same reason.

Yeah. . .that macro feature works much better than the 20D, which is non-existant. But I suuuuuuuuuuure would love a macro lens.

love this image .. i had that same problem with the kodak DX6490 before i got my canon 400D .. love the colours in this and the excellent blur .. :)
