 Doodling again. The main texture is a tire tread that I photographed earlier in the sand at the beach.

The palm really jumps out of this jumble of shapes and textures and makes this shot work really nicely.

I totally love the fractured reflection - great find, excellent composition. The texture is very well integrated - if I didn't know I was looking for it, I wouldn't "see" it as a texture. Excellent work on this one!

I cannot tell you how much I love this style. It's so much into one image...reminds me of abstract art. (like my paintings!) I love to see time and paint added ontop of one another.. like time's patina. I never thought about doing this in photography. Nicely done!!
