How perfectly crisp! I know the feeling of exhilaration at finally being able to catch the reflections in the drops - been there! So enjoy your feeling and do as Bernard_Marx says: notice the settings and get shooting again, for both our pleasure and yours! Congrats Eve! |

Good for you Eve! It is a fine job and a lovely result. You may want to look at the exif data for this photo to note what settings you used and reflect on the physical settings that were around you - then go out and shoot 20 more for us! I know you were just out for a walk, but for up-close work like that I find that a tripod and little wind are big helpers. |

Just excellent! The time of day was right for this, with the "real" dew on the bloom, and the low sunlight level making the refractions thru the droplets show up so well. |
