The swan looks very soft, just cropped a little to tight for me ,still a great shot..
good luck at the polls...

Beautiful...The black background is wonderfully complementary and good job bringing out detail on the feathers.

I don't know how you captured that shot, but it's one of the best photos of a swan I've seen.

only it's yellow which is a shame. I would have cropped the black areas out to concentrate on the feathers.

You handled your whites well so this is a visual appealing as well as a beautifully composed image. Certainly meets the challenge. Nice work!

Very nice shot. You can feel the feathers due to the way the light hits them

Very good. I think you've just allowed some areas of feathers to get away from you in terms of exposure, though tricky when it's still got its young feathers on its neck. great sense of the furry neck feathers, a touch less successful with the pure white back feathers.Composition is a bit odd - cropped so close to the curve of the neck, and that loop of the neck only bringing the eye to centre of the frame.

Nice job and detail. It is so hard to not blow out your whites when you shoot digital. Nice job

Your color balance is wonderful along with the focus. I only would of like more of the swan's face visible. Good luck in the challenge.

I think I would have cropped this tighter on the right. I can sure see the texture.

Great job here! The lighting seems a little glaring though.
