Totally brilliant image. Stunning in its simplicity and starkness. I didn't see this during the challenge, or I would have given it a 10.

Wonderful capture July. I love the shininess off the pull as a direction opposition to the silhouetted figure. The texture of both the glasses and the flag atop really lend itself well to this picture. I see there is some slight clouds in the sky, curious how it would look if those were extenuated more. Marvelous capture.

I like her silhouette but am puzzled as to why the pole is not. I would have liked to see more flag as I didn't know it was a flag without the title. That's just my take.

A very severe perspective. I would not have recognized it if not for the title.

Love the high contrast, and how the flagpole almost disappears.

your title says it...wasn't sure what was at the top of the pole.

Hmmmm this is not working for me... seems a bit odd that the person is completly silhouetted but the stick isnt? I don't know... just not to my taste, good luck non the less =)

That's a bit too abstract for me!

This is a great shot, nice silhouette I really wish there was something to the sky, it is kind of bland. Also if the flag was stretched out this would have a nicer appeal, nice idea though.
