I thought I'd add a note here. These photos were taken at the vet by my dad, while the vet got the pain killers ready. It took 3 hours to get the quills out all 3 dogs.

They're all fine. This one just has a bit of a droopy face, and there is a small chunk of her lip missing.

Jacks are very, very stubborn dogs. They chased the poor porcupine into a drain pipe, and of the 3 she was the first one in and last one out it appears. I assume dad managed to grab the wiener dog and the younger Jack, throw them in the truck, and then come back for the older Jack.

They're all very well trained, but when they get excited and loose, watch out! I once walked around in a hop field for an hour trying to get this stupid dog back to the house. She was speeding around like a greyhound on crack! I had some choice words for my dad about his stupid dog when I finally caught her and by that time was late for work.

!!! Does the porcupine have any quills left? Your dogs are warriors. Must have taken ages to get those missiles out.
