For lack of a model, I dressed this styrofoam head with accessories (hat and scarf). What appears to be a black dress is just a black cloth wrapped around other stuff beneath it.
The styrofoam material also, I think, puts the focus more on the accessories and not the face.
Canon 50mm prime, two 250w photo floodlights, on each side, umbrella flash in front, 550EX flash bounced off the ceiling, camera on a tripod.
Shot in raw mode, converted to TIFF and Saved for Web in JPEG.
During conversion from raw, I changed the white balance to tungsten and further reduced the temp from there to achieve a more whiter, cooler looking ambience as opposed to the yellow warm color cast by the flood lights.
Cropped, resized, color adjustments, cloned out some spots here and there, a little bit of sharpening, border. |
