Well as people have said, the background was something that really hurt you. I do think that the sheet, even wrinkled, was better than having a ton of even more distracting elements in the background.

The rainbow, wow, you did a great job with that. I never would have guessed that it was from a CD.

The pot at the bottom blends into the background a lot, so maybe having a bit of a more well-lit area down there would have helped.

Overall I thought that this was really creative and had a lot of potential. It made me smile when I came across it during voting because it's something happy and cheerful (a pot of gold, yay!) and you don't see images like this all the time.

Nice try, but the folds and wrinkles in the sheet(s) ruin this shot. Great concept. Pot / bottom of photo is too dark.

Isn't St. Paddy's day way off? I think some different lighting would have helped it some.

not bad, too much dark in lower side. The background is bent. 5

Good idea, but the lighting is a little strong, or uneven, and maybe crop off some of the bottom, 5.

Nice concept. Would have liked to seen the fabric ironed, or reflected on a different surface.

For me, with a less wrinkled background and a bit better letting, I would have scored this better. I the creative idea for your setup though.

Great idea and well executed, IMO shame the background is a little too creased

Nice concept shot - but the image really does not work for a couple of reasons. First, the screen or fabric that is used is readily in view and we can see all the wrinkles and seams etc. By moving the 'pot of gold' farther away from the fabric and shooting it - you would avoid the harsh shadows. Second, the perspective does not really work - I think a lower angle for the shot would have worked better.
