A well conceived toned image. Very moody and mysterious. Good perspective, composition and framing. The eyes give the viewer plenty to think about.
Realizing it is high contrast, there are a couple slightly overexposed areas like the bridge of the nose, some of the makeup on the forehead and a couple other spots you could correct. One thing I like to do for that is use a very low opacity, feathered brush to clone just a tiny bit of detail into those areas from somewhere else that closely matches what should be there. Should you try it you may be amazed how absolutely natural the result looks. |

I thought this might be you! Love it in B&W, even more so than color. It has so much more power to it this way. Excellent job with the shoot, the composition, the makeup, and the post. Very very nice work indeed! (And even though it's a 6, I still think it deserved more than that.) |

Like everyone else said - this looks GREAT in black and white. I think it looks more powerful too. And your eyes still command everyone's attention. Good job and congrats on your third highest PB! |

you got robbed on this one. very good photo. I find the B+W one much more powerful than the color one (both because of strong contrasty B+W processing and composition/eyes) - but obviously would not have flown in the "rainbow" challenge.

Heavy shadow on the left and blown out on the right. I think this actually makes for a nice balance and a good portrait |

I know who you are, and I feel so completely biased about this photo that I cannot vote on it.
This photo makes me happy for you. I feel like you are coming through something, into a new world. This is an exciting photo. It is who you are and what you are at the same time. It is you as a subject and you as a photographer. But it is not you at all. It is a photograph. It is an image that you shaped into something beautiful and mysterious. You have left not only the confines of yourself, but time and space as well. Your left eye sees me, your right eye sees through me to something beyond.
Could it be that you are coming into your own? Could it be that this photo holds a hint for you, a hint about style and voice and vision, a hint for the artist, a muse? This photo is already there and waits for you to join her. Remember that path we talked about? She is looking at it right now. |

Haunting and intriguing - I like the composition a lot, and like the blown and dark bits. |

Wish the right eye was in focus rather than the bridge of the nose, and that there weren't so many burnt out areas. |

This looks like the rainbow entry, glad you made use of the session after covering yourself with magic markers :0)
It was one of my favourites in Rainbow and it works really well in this toned version. Those eye's are amazing - 8 |

nice DOF but the white of the left eye (models right) is distracting me too much from the rest. |
