A photo of my wife using the drop saw to cut steel rod (Scary stuff) so I could take the photo.

Shot using my Tripod with the arm extended 90 deg.

I like the dof, and the stick and ruler help lead me to the action, that is nice. I'm not sure that distance and length are synonymous though, I don't think this is a clear fit for the challenge.
