 Macro shot of glass flower. Put a flashlight under, took 4 shoots, then I had to change diapers on my 6 month old son and forgot all about photgraphy. Browsing through todays catch of photos, I saw that one of the shots turned out OK and I decided to unsubmit my previous entry to Textures II. Cropped it really hard, then did a horizontal flip of the canvas.

Added border and voilá!

Colour & lighting are great. A bit too abstract for my likeing in that I can't tell what it is.

Really have no clue what this is....some sort of underwater thing? In anycase, I like it! The colors and textures are cool. Too bad you can't clone out that light on the right, but I would after the challenge. I'd also opt for a thinner frame/border, although I think I do think this shot does better with some sort of border.

Never really found these liquid-metal tone photos very likeable. This seems more about refraction of light than of texture. Obviously a 'good' photo, and those tones are pretty well brought out. negative space to right of frame is a pity - though if i brighten things up a lot I can see stuff there. I guess ther is some suggestion of the feel of water, after looking a while, so I won't give you the 'doesn't fit the challenge' thing :-) 6
