| The glare from the flash is distracting, but I think you have an interesting subject matter, and the texture is unique. |

| Good color and balance, This is a fairly complex image so I imaging it will do badly since voting here favors a simple contrasty image. nice shot. |

| Rather obscure this, I find. Something attractive about the muted colours, almost painterly, but I don't get much sense of the tactility of the surface, rather of the gloss-ness of it. Not sure though, may have to come back to it. 6 for now. |

| I really like the originality you brought to this peeling branch or tree trunk detail. Some may say it's a bit bright in the center, but the brightness does add interest to the composition. Nicely done. |
