oh wow, those are Maybachs, each one of those cars "was" worth over $600,000, that stinks for whoever owned those.
Great shot, the little blue sign is a bit distracting, but I love the symetry |

Jeff, this is a great image...I was in San Diego visiting from Australia the day the fires started...no, I didn't light the fires...I was in church :-) |

hehe.. I think the title's pretty funny, myself. But I'm not the one whose cars got burned up. It is a decent shot of little pieces of the destruction, though maybe not THE shot to document it. But you know that better than I do anyway. |

to be honest I didnt get the California connection. To me It looks like a few thugs burnt out some cars. I was one of your 4's. The title really put me off track. |

What a sad sight. Hopefully they used another vehicle to get out of there. |

I like the wide angle and inclusion of the trees and mountains as the environment helps to tell a story. This appears to be a significant newsworthy story. Should do well. |

Its a bit too far back for a paper/mag, and the title wouldn't work either, perhaps a reshoot from the side in BW would work better. Good luck |

Photo had some great potential, but your title killed the impact |

Oh! Bugger! I sincerely hope this is not your driveway. Picture certainly tells a story. Congrats on a good image. |

I like the symmetry of your image. With your image, I find the title distasteful and in poor humor, but that's me and I certainly don't hold that against the photo itself. |

Verry good image for the challenge. I might have prefered a punchier 'tabloid-esque' title (Not that that affects my mark). Nice symettry in the shot
Good job |

most of the drama this image could have, has been lost due to this loose and centered composition. A closer camera position and a wider lense would have made the job. |

Sad scenario for all of the California victims. I hate the title - seems a bit insensitive, considering the situation. Maybe I'm just being too soft hearted. It certainly tells a story, even without the title, so it fits photojournalism just fine. |
