 i'm hoping this isnt too gruesome for the ppl who dont like spiders and bugs .. i absolutely love insects and spiders and bugs especially coz they look amazing in photographs .. their intricate, complicated and DIFFERENT anatomies blow me away ..
this was one photograph that didnt work when i was shooting for the point of view challenge ..
i was looking thru my spider photographs today and deleting a heap of RAW files & i saw this one .. even before i added the phone he looked like he was talking on one and his 'hand' on the fly .. priceless .. !!
i had about half an hour before we went out, so i decided to process it with a mobile/cell phone in his 'hand' because i hadnt taken anything for our slice of life today ..

this is another photograph of the same spider and fly that i considered putting in the point of view challenge ..


after david's comment i'll say i googled phone images and i found this image of a phone in an advert .. i didnt have time to photograph one myself, so i just stuck this one in with a bit'v warping .. it is possible that that's how a spider'd hold a phone anyway .. his 'hands' arent exactly designed for the grasping ..!!..:)

this is a wolf spider and he wasnt very big .. you can see the size of the fly .. well the fly was a normal house fly .. so that gives you an idea of the spider's size ..

LoL!! I love this image! It is the BOMB! You have a unigue talent for seeing things differently and having the editing skills to pull it off. This image is so cool and funny. It would make a great greeting card or something commercial, perhaps a CD cover?

Oh Roz!!!!! You are the absolute BOMB! Only you could make an extreme macro of an ugly hairy spider so adorably cute by having him talking to us on the phone!

There is NOTHING gross about this! It is genius!
