A detail of an old harrow that went out of service some 50 years ago.
Took this and a few more just in time before the sun moved another inch or so, ruining the light conditions.

Full frame, sharpened slightly.

I like the colors and the textures of that rusty piece of metal I can almost feel, you have used the rule of thirds well, I would like to see the metal more in focus, and the bottom part is a bit blown out, I think to soften your light source would eliminate the problem.

should have got rid of the cobweb, IMO. Good macro

Everything in this shot shouts 'Ancient'. The only real minus is the bright spot at the bottom. Nice shot.

I like the composition, but the blow out doesn't add to the image. Crop that white out!

Nice details here, I like the cobwebs and the grainy look to it too.

Excellent detailing and texture on the nut and bolt: a wonderful feel. Compositionally weak however, don't find any visual order in this presentation of shapes, and the left hand of the image seems unused, and not to add anything.

good exposure, very sharp

Beautiful closeup of the nut. Definitely get the feeling of texture that you were able to capture in this composition. The rust, dust, spider web can almost be felt by reaching out. The dark black background really helps to bring out the abstract shapes that you captured.
Only thing to add is maybe cropping out the bright highlight under the bolt and nut. "10"

Great shot, nice composition. Maybe a little deeper DOF.

nice picture of age. I might have cropped the bottom off a bit so the bright light did not distract my eye

Texture is clear to see, focus & colour are good.
Subject & composition are not up to the level of many other photos here.

+ I can almost feel the textures. The composition is interesting and you used the light in an excellent way.
- You should do a little more cleaning now and then ;).

I'm back to comment. The DOF is great, and of course, the texture is beautiful and detailed. Great job...

I see the texture, but the subject and composition just don't hold my interest.

Reminds me of a sucken ship for some reason. But without water. However, a great shot and great detail for many textures in this shot. Good job!

Nicely exposed. Not sure I like the angle but I'm sure it was an effort to get cobwebs exposed against dark background.

Very nice macro shot, I especially like the way you captured the web/dust and rust on this nut. The rust really give me a feeling of rough texture. Nice Job. 8

Good seeing to get this rich texture. If it was mine, I'd probably try for a bit more definition on the upper metal work, but it isn't, it's yours and it looks good! 7
