| Great lighting in this, lending the image an effectively eerie mood. Love the touch of grain and the long shadow of the trash can. |

| This image would have ribboned, imo. Gosh it tells so much. The bridge is closed, a nearby flag blows in the breeze, a light shines in the dark, rocks sparkle in the foreground...harsh and soft lighting thruout, plus soft and hard lines thruout. I LOVE this image!! Nice editing, too!! |

i don't know if it's because it's halloween time or what but all of you guys are giving me the heebie jeebies!

| Ooo, this is so cool! Spooky, eerie, desolate... love the grain and tones. I really like the effect of the light in the tree, like a star from van Gogh's Starry Night :-) |

this is just brilliant roger .. a wonderful just about eerie image .. love the colouring .. :)
ps .. i found the wolf spider on our bathroom floor .. i took photographs of him there and put him in a glass overnight because i wanted to use him for the macro challenge & the one's on the bathroom floor didnt appeal to me ... i didnt get around to photographing him the next day so i let him go outside .. the day after that i saw a suspiciously similar looking spider on the floor in the hall .. i put a glass over him overnight & in the morning took photographs for the point of view challenge coz i'd got the dragonfly by then .. so that's the story of the wolf spider .. he was getting a bit anxious i think coz the last photographs i took of him i had to take thru a glass .. whenever i moved it away he made a dash for freedom ... after i finished with him i took him outside and let him go .. apparently they can give a very painful bite ..

Hmmmm, a covered bridge you say. Looks like I may have to search that out when I'm home visiting the folks for Christmas. :)
It's especially cool that you took night shot of it. Don't see very many of those type of covered bridge photos. The light worked out well here. |
