 Went out to capture a landscape but the sky turned murky. On the way home the sun popped out and it was still a bit misty and there was this New Forest pony beautifully backlit - his breath was steamy - pity I couldn't capture that too!
Processing largely done with curves, bit of burning to darken the shadows and the left tree trunk. I know there is lens flare - some think it adds - I'm not sure. Did a little bit of work on the rump which was affected by flare. Selected rump, copied to a new layer, multiply and reduce opacity and desat to get a reasonable colour match. Whatever, I love the capture. . .

Whilst I appreciate this is probably a slope, a fraction of straightening (or could be perspective correction) may have helped this image. Like the colors and scene, just wish it were more 'balanced', including maybe a slightly tighter crop at the top.

I would have gone without the tree trunks & zoomed in more.The lighting is just fabulous
