This is OJ. OJ was named for "orange juice" because he is about the brightest orange kitty I have ever seen! Here is one of his first baby pictures:


Anyway, today was the glorious day when I got the last three kittens (including OJ) in to be fixed. Yippee! I ordered a big yummy cake for the folks at the vet clinic and delivered it along with lots of different flavored ice creams at lunchtime. I also framed some pictures, as planned. Here is a bad picture of the lot:


What made me feel great is that when I went back at the end of the day to pick up my three boys, they had the black frame thing of 8 pictures on their main desk :-) Even the vet himself came out to thank me for the cake and comment on the originality of the pictures. They asked if I was a real photographer. I told them that with the support of a bunch of expert photographers from an online community I was involved in, I was starting to consider myself to be just that, at least where my kitties were concerned! They can't wait for the 2008 calendar I promised them :-)

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT .. & I LOVE YOUR TITLE .. even if its stolen!! .. its totally apt ..
the calender is going to be a total blast .. i reckon it'll be one of those amazingly excellent things that if you have them printed for sale you wont be able to keep up with the demand ..
your cat photographs are amazing .. i think i'm starting to repeat myself !!! .. & i'm so happy that the taking of this 'bunch' of mad photographs of your cats has been responsible for giving you the confidence to think of yourself as a 'real' photographer .. lets substitute the words brilliant & original for 'real' and thats how i see your ability .. :)
