 Today was Ella's birthday. She turned 4. They are family friends of ours. We went to Ella's party and carved pumpkins. The kids lasted all of about 5 minutes and lost interest so the adults were left to finish the job.

So Nolan turned 3 yesterday, Ella turned 4 today, Mason turns 5 on Thursday and then there's Avey (Ella's sister) She's six and I'm not sure exactly when her birthday is.

They had written on the window "Happy Birthday Ella" but I only took my 85mm in with me and this was all I could fit into the shot. :)

You'll just have to take my word that it was "Happy".

Woo...you are going to be partied out by the end of the week! And you have Halloween thrown in there for good measure too! I think there'll be a few kids in your neck of the woods on sugar highs for a good stretch. Good luck!

Now I would have really loved to see the adults carving those pumpkins! Nice shot though - the background really makes the shot.

fun shot .. excellent colours ... it really sucks when you've got the wrong lens !!!!!! .. i'm the last of the big spenders .. i now have 2 lenses !!! i dont know how i'd live if one of them died ..
shhhhhhh .. i hope the tamron didnt hear that .. its got personality problems .. i think it's developing a case of split personality .. when its good its very very good but when its bad its horrible !!!! ... it chooses to be bad when i have the best shot ever in my sights .. and then it just refuses to shoot ... i realised this arvo that it was because i was too close to my subject !!!!!! .. maybe its me with the problem !! ... lol ..
