 Okay here is my submission for the black challenge. I decided to submit a product shot of my receiver. Show at F/2.8 I just got the DOF I wanted. After Neat Image was applied I cloned the right corner to make it perfectly black. Also the left side was treated this way. After that I added a soft focus effect on the right side to soften the lights a bit, resized, sharpened and the picture was ready to be submitted :). I used my 50mm lens for this shot.

The stereo shows no definition to distinguish it from the background. Interesting idea, but I might have wanted to se the difference, even in a small way.

I think this shot was a good idea for the challenge. The splash of color and S-DOF also adds interest. I would of like the right cropped a bit more.
