 I wanted to play with the new camera's shutter speed adjustments and painting with light. I set up my camera in the dark, set my camera at 2 sec. the "painted" a heart with a laser pointer, and then put a candle flame in at the last second. Had to do it several times til I got an effect I liked.
I adjusted the color and the flame in PSP.

Interesting idea but too artificial IMHO. I prefer a much more natural interpretation of the elements. Still, technically competent if not rather good and gets a good score for that.

Nice idea, but I am not sure about the flame. It is hard to shoot flame on a long exposure to get the heart right, and it is very washed out. It also seems a bid out of place in the photo
