Woohoo....I love it when a freind takes a shot that I dont know about and I give it a really high mark during the competition phase
(see all you do is moan about my lack of tripod and I say nice things to you....GRIN)
This was actually my favourite in the whole competition

a good varitaion on a classic shot, I know it's possibly not easy from where you shot this, but I think it would have improved this shot even mroe if you'd shot form slightly higher so that the sea was more prominent |

Composition is nice but the colors here are unatural. Typically the ocean reflects the light of the sky and is therefor in the same color tone as the sky. |

Just a wonderfully composed shot, brilliant leading lines and a wonderful range of blues and greens. Super crisp, and great textures. Bump to 10 |

I like how you lined up the railing with the horizon, but there seems to be something missing from the photo. Maybe someone standing at the end of the pier to draw us in further. |
