I appreciate those who took the time to vote and comment on this picture, I am happy that you liked it.

I would not address this issue if it wasn’t because several of you asked. I remind you that some risks are inherent to the setting up of these types of shots, and, some unintended consequences can and do occur despite all precautions. Looking at the positive side, ONLY ONE animal was harmed in the taking of this picture.

Since the camera and lights were set, I could not resist taking a picture of the aftermath, even when I knew that I would be harshly criticized by many. I am posting the picture of the aftermath for those that have the stomach to see it. Please be advised that the image is very graphic and no efforts were made to minimize its impact by editing. Please do not look at it if you are easily upset by graphic images, and, I beg you to not look at it if you plan to chastise me for 'not being careful', being cruel or for posting the aftermath picture. Thank you, this is the link to it.

My daughter and I were looking through this challenge together and our reaction was the same...a gasp of panic combined with a giggle (because we know that not even a dpc'er would kill an animal for a shot). Great idea, very funny, well executed and original bumping to a 9 .... super job
