During the Great Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza I put the lens in macro mode to take some macro shots of pumpkin guts. Trust me, you didn't want to see those.

I took a few pictures in the kitchen and saw the silverware that was just washed and took a couple of pictures.

No fancy processing: crop, B&W, curves, levels, and a silver action (fancy name for a curve preset).

I would have never thought to take pictures of forks. You sure use your creativity when it comes to taking pictures. It is almost as if the forks take on humanistic qualities; as in the fork in the background is a leader and the forks in the foreground are dependent upon each other with the intertwining of the tines. If only our silverware looked this good in real life. :oP

Nice sharp focus and detail. The knives make an interesting pattern in the background thanks to your dof.

Excellent lines - forks, yet abstract. I think you should have posted the pumpkin guts - in the spirit of the season and all... :o)

I always thought forks had such cool shapes and when the tines intertwine, they almost take on human qualities, like fingers. I like the duotone.
