Quotation by Leonardo da Vinci.
Gotta love cats... this post is about 6 feet high and has nothing else around it. The cats climb straight up and they perch on the top.
BTW, I'm pretty sure this is Lily... truth is, I have four little tabbies at this point, and from a distance I am sometimes at a loss to distinguish who is who (thanks to my failing eyesight :-)!
Close up there are no issues; from the backyard cats Lily and Ziggy have the same spotted-more-than-striped markings and slim bodies, but Lily has gold eyes while Ziggy has green eyes, and Lily is smaller than Ziggy.
The from the front yard cats, Tigey and Sheena are more stripey than spotty, and a bit darker overall, so they are easy to distinguish from the back yard cats. Tigey is a big-bodied and big-faced caveman (by that I mean he has a very heavy brow and a wide nose -- he's so darn CUTE!) while his sister Sheena is completely different. She has delicate features in a tiny round face and a very compact body as well, with the sweetest little short legs.
So.... my boyfriend thinks I am nuts and rather scary to notice such details in tabby cats... to me, the differences are obvious! Well, when they're in my face, that is :-) As they grow up they look more similar from a distance... I either need better glasses or more little cats! |

Nice processing. I wonder if a little squarer format would have worked better. She feels sort of cramped. |

This cracks me up. It is like something a bird would do, perch on top of a poll. I guess this little kitty needed a better view of the world. I like the blurred background. It adds a bit of softness to the picture. |

Looks a lot like my old tabby cat -- I'd have trouble telling them apart, too. Cute pose. |

Nice capture who whoever this is. Love the pose, the readiness to leap or sit depending on what might happen next. The gray coat really stands out against the lighter background. |

Great capture. He's pretending he's a huge lion up on a hill surveying his territory. |
