 My black desk lamp with a red bulb. I actually was going to delete all my shots and not submit, but then I looked at this one and thought it turned out kind of interesting.

The colors are natural as they came out of the camera. Only editing was to clone out a UPC sticker from the black contruction paper, adjusted the black levels, and slightly blurred the red from the light, so it was not so grainy.

Not expecting much out of this, but wanted to see what the voters thought.

That red really stands out against the black, and even with the uniformity of colors, the red suggests the actual lines of the black lamp. Good idea, good capture.
