I have been fascinated with this water tower ever since childhood. After many pictures later, the photo just looked better in black & white. The tower is actually red & white checkered.

This goes to show that even in the middle of nowhere you can still find interesting photos! I like this, but probably would've preferred some color to it. Composition is quite striking, though. --7-- sohr

I'm waiting for the Jolly Green Giant to lean over and put the golf ball on this tee.

Needs more contrast. Good composition! -arnit

Nice picture, but the compression artifacts are hurting you. Look closely at the light-dark edges, you'll see the noise.

i doubt the photograhper lives in gotham city...however the contrast is impresive.

pretty but pixellated, is this a crop? if it ain't, eat beans and rice for a while and get a cooler camera.

Soft focus. JEM

Nice choice. Seems to be out of focus. I think color would have been better too.

The angle and the clouds suggest a lot of activity in what would normally be a static picture. Nice.

nice b&w.

Seems like a very low res photo, focus is very soft on the water tower. 5 Swash

I've been looking at water towers myself for a shot the past couple of weeks. Just a bit grainy and out of focus. Nice shot though. Dpz

Would've been better in color.

I go through Billings twice a year and have for the past nine years. I like your town and love your part of the country. Will the construction on 90 ever be finished?? I know the answer......NO! Next time I'll look for this water tower. <lol> Good luck. Score 7 Justine

I don't like the lack of color and the soft focus on this shot. I think it would have made a nice contrast with the sky if there was some color.

Doesn't the water fall out with the tower at such an angle? ;-) The image seems a little grained to me, maybe the tower is quite tall and you had to crop the image. Well structured photo.

More contrast and this would have been awesome! I really like the perspective.

This would have been cool had it been in a little better focus... I like the composition and subject.
