 Photo from Maputo, Mozambique, taken in one of many under privilaged residental areas of the city. But the wonderful thing is that despite being poor most of the people find their love of life, children playing cheerful and laughing and the adults are being very friendly to the foreign photographer. This girl was very happy as everybody can see. I have more photos of her and she was laughing all the time.

Minimal PS, a little crop, levels, curves, resize, USM and save for the web.

Adorable. I love the unabashed joy in her face. I'd love to see part of the area above her head cropped out, but I'm a huge fan of a square crop. Wonderful lighting and focus.
