The box on the right is distracting. I think the white space on either side of the image definitely takes away from it, and should have been removed. |

OMG!!!! Spectacular photo. Brilliant lighting. This is a definant winner. The stylized hair and the archaic smile are obvious in this photo. Great title short and sweet. It describes the photo perfectly. Kouroi Challange anyone??? |

Look at that Archaic smile! I think this is a perfect example of the fact that even though art changes, it doesn't get better. Even an ancient kouros has its place in the DP Challenge. And so you see...I give it a 10. |

I love this picture, it really captures the stylized sense of the kouroi, as well as his archaic smile and rigid pose. |

your light is flat, looks like daylight through large windows; doesn't create interesting shadowplay on an already boring subject. |

Guess you had not much influence in the lighting of this sculpture. Your exposure is good. the centered composition with these many vertical lines is a good choice. |
