This was fun! Got to try out some neat tricks I learned from other photos on DPC. Used two tea lights balanced on knives stuck in the back of the pumpkins head and a third in the little pumpkin. Then I used a single light directly to the right. The BOO was written with a candle, taking about 30 tries. Used black posterboard taped to the wall and the wifes black skirt for the black foreground and backround. Used a circular polarizer to lengthen exposure time (forgot that my ISO was at 800!!!)
Convret Raw, levels, curves, hue/saturation to change the BOO color, brightness to make pumpkin stand out better, resize, reduce noise, usm, save for web.
Except for the wax everywhere, this came out in my opinion great, hopefully that is the concensus of others... |

Very creative. I love the pumpkin in the pumpkin. Just my opinion, of course, but I think it would've stood even stronger without the boo up top. 7 |

I like the pumpkin, not real keen on the writing, I especially like the stars in the eyes, very cool. |

Oh my!! This has to be a winner...it's so original and very cute! The mad-twinkle is a perfect touch! Well executed. |

I like the candles for eyeballs, but the eyebrows?? the contrast here is excellent, and texture of the vegetable is great. |
