| Wonder why the woman's face didn't get the same treatment. It's looks awfully odd. The kid looks like he's in some sort of trouble too! |

Great job on the eyes, lovely and clear.
However the pose is awkward, the babies face seems to be uncomfortably scruched into the mother rather than 'nestled'. The perspective means we see 'up' his nostrals which is not a great look.
The extreme between the blur on the mother and sharpness of the child is too much in my opinion, it makes an extreme in the B&W conversion which is midly unpleasant.
Finally I'd have perhaps blurred or faded the babies and mother's clothing - the sharpness should have stayed just with his face. |
