 You cannot mix too many metaphors on Halloween.

Huh. This was one I did with no forethought; I'm surprised (and pleased) people liked it. I was trying to figure out how to make the subject stand out from the background, and then I had a happy inspiration. (I confess to being the last person on the planet who's never seen the movie.)
I really appreciate the suggestion on improving the selection (mask?); I need more practice with that.

Masking's maybe a *tiny* bit too harsh (like if you had gaus. blurred the mask a tiny, tiny bit, it may have helped) but I do think you did a very decent job with it overall.
