| Nice colors. I don't think the soft focus helped though. Also, too much dead space between the paints. OTOH, I like the colors and textures. Great idea! |

| Is it a bit out of focus ? I like the composition, but I would sharp it. Perhaps the shadows are too dark too. |

| Looks to be Acrylic paint and quite loose. I myself like Oils that are stiffer in consistency. Notwithstanding, I just love to paint and have done so for most of my life. This picture is just wonderful. I can feel the texture of the paint as it is applied to the canvas. Smooth and silky. Also like the composition. |

| Quite good work. A touch random looking in your framing and composition, and the hard reflections remove some sense of fineness of texture, but there is a good sense of depth. Good colours too. |

| You've added something new with these good renditions of oil or acrylic paints. It might add some excitement to the composition if you blended them more (on the order of the yellow/blue mix in the upper right. Or in some other way tied the composition together. But it is fun to see the two artforms in action together. Good. |

| This is a great idea, but I think the composition and lighting are lacking. Maybe grouping the paint together a little more closely, or adding the end of the paintbrush would up the interest factor. The lighting is a little harsh and the background choice bland. |

+ Textures are present. Composition is okay.
- The grey background is dull in relation with the vivid colours of the paint.
