Too quick. I see it and I'm moving on. Make 'em work at it. |

I can see that you put some thought and effort into this shot, the bear looks like I can reach and pick it off my monitor, this will make a great shot for a collage of photos in a childs room. A very nice shot, good luck with the challenge. Ciao, Gallatin |

not a huge fan of pure black as object looks like it's floating in mid air. Great soft feeling to this shot though - great! |

Not much detail in the highlights, but, a nice image anyway. |

The lighting on this is great... the bear looks so squeezable and soft. |

The blown highlights on the forehead really take away from the feeling of texture on this. |

Good on the fuzzy furriness, good on the black and white, and an interestingly high-tech approach to take to a kiddie's toy -like the contrast of subject and presentation. Almost think he might have an Uzi hidden behind him. Mean. |

Excellent work. I like the soft light on the ears and feet- fuzziness alone wouldn't have been enough. One of the best this week. 8 |

This bear is a nice fuzzy little fellow. Could be a tad sharper, but still meets the Challenge, I think. He could use something to sit on and that border is pretty pronounced for such a nice little guy. Still, a creditable and fun photograph |

My 2yo picked this one out of the page of thumbnails. He really likes it. He says it is "soft" so in that respect, I guess you nailed the "texture" part of the challenge. I like the bw, though it may have been more dramatic if the background was the same color as the feet and ears. Also, maybe get a little more closer so it is not so centered -- it kinda looks static and non-dynamic. |

I think it meets the challenge but I don't know because it not a close up of the fur. But this is a very nice picture and since it grabbed my attention I am giving you a 7. |

Focus is a little bit...(wee) soft. I do like the good contrast. |

I like this shot. I would have liked to see the color version. Other than the light being a little bright on the top of the head, washing out some detail, the shot is wonderful and shows great texture. |

Cute. Nice & soft. Image is somehow a little uninteresting. Bear too much in the middle |

I dig the bear, but I think it would have been better for the "black" challenge. Still giving it a fairly high vote because it's so dang cute! |

+ The subject is sweet :). There is texture present. I like the black and white colours style.
- You have proably chosen the focus to be very soft considering the subject. For me it is just a little too soft.
