Nice idea, i think this would look better if the brush occupied the bottom of the frame. Good focus and detail present, colours are also good. |

I feel texture of the cloth is actually distracting from the subject. Nice clear shot. |

good textures, but quite a dull subject / lighting. |

Lot of texture depicted here, the texture of the handle and the background is especially well done. |

Texture all through this shot. The brush hairs, the handle and even the background. great way to meet the challenge. 7 |

Would like to see more color in the shot -- canvas on biege lacks interest. |

Little real sense of texture here: the light source is close to the line of shot that there is almost no chance for any meaningful depth of shadows to form on the subject - and it's those shadows thrown across a subject, by lighting from the side, or towards the rear, that allow the eye to percieve texture. A shame, as there are good compositional elements here, that strong line across the frame, and your control of exposure is very assured. |

Good texture and lighting. I would have liked less of the bristles and more of the basket weave. |

The title is stating exactly what this is. I don't want to say the word boring but it's not very interesting. Yes, it's texture..but the trick is to also invoke interest for the viewer. Trick is the key here. :) The upper part of the broom would of been very good all by it's self...closer. It has contrast and texture, and would of been abstract to the viewer. Good luck in the challenge. |

the linen and handle are nice, but the bristles are too dark, undefined. |
